Wcup Fever
Well ,Well, Well, we are out of the cup, and so do our neighbors. This is the best thing happened to us , I don't think its the same case for the Pakistan. They have more problems than us , their board is not rich, the system is not that great. We have a system , whether its good or bad is a different story. Some one was pointing the other day about university cricket ? I wonder what happened to that one. Anyhow , I care less about cricket hmmm, let me rephrase it , " I care less about Indian cricket". I was talking to few friends and the topic of following cricket rose in our conversation. Almost all my friends stopped watching cricket between 1994 to 2001. This is the time we were busy building our professional careers. So cricket was the least interesting topic for us. Though we kept a check on www.cricinfo.com we were rarely following it. The 2002 Natwest trophy win changed all that. A lot of folks started watching cricket after that 2002 win. The convenience of watching on the internet made all of us addicts to cricket. With our team out from the world cup I am sure most of the folks will take a temporary break from watching it. :-) I would like to watch it provided - Watching on internet becomes cheap.
- All the ranji matches and ODI's are shown.
More on the reason for failures next week.
