A Happy New Year.

Though I posted the previous blogs on Cricket, I liked the idea of starting a NRI perspective category.
I believe this would add more diversity to the existing topics. The NRI perspective (specially the NRI's from USA)  is about how they feel about Politics , Cricket , US Economy, Indian Economy , American Sports ( NFL,NBA...) , Real Estate in India, Stock Market rise in India, Changing IT culture in India .... the topics are unlimited.

Cricket
India lost, as expected. The players are lost it in their minds to compete. The upcoming cricket ODI are of no significance to me. My prediction is that India will not win against Sri Lanka and might be able to draw with WI. I decided not to watch this upcoming series and loose my sleep.

NFL
I hated Patriots winning again, it reminds me of Javed Miandad's last ball six. I still remember that day, watching in a friend's house in prehistoric Black and White Dyanora Television. For Pats the game begins in the fourth quarter. There are similarities between them and the Australian cricket team.
On the other side, on Dec 18th I mentioned in my blog that I will see the end of Australian dominance in cricket. I can see that happening sooner than expected. With McGrath,Martyn and Warne retiring , lets see how the others perform.

Bush
Watched 60 minutes after the Patriot's game. This week it’s Mr. Bush. This guy is amazing. Jon Stewart of comedy central always asks if anyone in white house has internet?  Well, we now know the answer, they do, and Mr. Bush saw the execution of Saddam on the internet. And boy, he is adamant, he still thinks he can win the war !!!!!!!
May be twenty years from now, middle east is an Oasis of democracy :-) or I must be dreaming
